Since it’s Fathers day I thought it would be a good idea to turn to our founding fathers in these days of confusion. One thing I am not confused about is that our founding fathers weren’t liberals. Our founding fathers understood that the noble mission of our nation is to preserve Freedom for future generations and ourselves.

“Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!" Patrick Henry, in his famous "The War Inevitable" speech, March, 1775.

(I'm not saying that all liberals are evil and that they hate freedom. What I am saying is that the doctrine of liberalism is detrimental to the cause of Freedom mainly because either the failure or commitment to the Holy cause of Freedom.)

For Freedom to prevail:

1. The power must remain with the people and not the government. That's why they believed in severely limited government.

"The ultimate authority...resides in the people alone." James Madison

(Liberalism attempts to grow government. Most of the legislation that has been enacted in recent years has decreased the freedom of the people.)

2. The right to keep and bare arms. That's why they enacted to 2nd amendment in order enforce the will of the people on the government.

"The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." Thomas Jefferson

“And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." Thomas Jefferson

"We, the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts - not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the Constitution." Abraham Lincoln

(Liberalism seeks to ban the 2nd amendment. Is it because they wish to usurp the power of the people?)

3. A strong motivated well-trained military is essential for fighting enemies of Freedom both foreign and domestic.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." Benjamin Franklin

"God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it." Daniel Webster


(Liberalism attempts to gut, limit and demoralize the military all in the name of peace)


4. A strong prosperous economy is to Freedom as water is to a delicate flower. So many countries have fought revolutions yet so few have achieved the level of Freedom that we enjoy mainly due to poor economic practices.

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Thomas Jefferson

(Liberalism has stifled our economy with excessive taxes, regulations and waste. Liberalism has forced many businesses to either close their doors or go abroad.)


5. Justice must prevail for freedom to prevail. One of the best test to determine if a nation is truly free or not is the justice test. That's why they believed that a jury of the people and not a judge from the state should decide fairness.

"Peace without justice is tyranny." Samuel Adams

(Liberalism has perverted justice by punishing the innocent and rewarded the guilty far to long)



6. And last but certainly not least is Culture. They understood that a culture that has a strong moral fiber would fortify our nation with an unbreakable bond. God loves Freedom if not he would have snuffed Satan out a long time ago.

"The First Amendment has erected a wall of separation between church and state, but that wall is a one directional wall; it keeps the government from running the church, but it makes sure Christian principles will always stay in government." (Liberalism has committed an unrelenting assault on our Christian based culture, on our values for far to long. To the point why evil is considered good and good is considered evil)

A few questions for liberals

Are you blind in that you don't see the big picture? Or are you evil in that you hate Freedom that much?

If you are a liberal and truly believe that liberalism is can grow freedom please tell us how. For as the words of our founding fathers attest a liberal nation cannot be a free nation for long.

A few questions for conservatives
Do you believe and are you committed to this mission as much as our fathers? Or are you a coward with the fear of offending? Did you become a conservative out of a desire for selfish benefits or for the greater good of the nation?

Do you not believe as our Founding Fathers believed that the best inheritance for your children is Freedom?
