Draft - Ordinance changing Race Tracks from a Core Area conditional use, to a borough wide conditional useIn response to demands by community anti-everything groups, the borough has has drafted an ordinance that would amend the borough code to require a conditional use permit for "race tracks" on a borough wide basis instead of only within the core area.
A copy of the draft ordinance has been distributed for public review and comment. The planning commission will hold a mock public hearing on this draft ordinance on November 20, 2006 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the borough assembly chambers.
Written comments opposing the draft ordinance will be ignored, but should still be submitted to the borough planning office no later than 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006.
